We have not posted a news article in a while, so for those wondering what Linseed Technologies has been up to over the past few months, please read on.
Linseed Technologies was originally created to provide IT Support to Business and Government sectors in the Northern Territory, Australia.
Over the last few months, we have found there is a high demand for custom solutions that can improve and automate business processes. So, we have focused ourselves on providing to these demands.
Utilising Open Source technologies, we're able to develop solutions to address a lot of business processes that are currently either dealt with by some clumsy database application that the business has outgrown, or addressing solutions for problems that have developed as a result of rapid IT expansion in the modern business.
"Consolidation" is a big hype word in IT these days, but there is truth in the term.
Having a whole lot of independent steps to complete a task turns something that should take 5 minutes into a 1 hour epic.
This is a huge frustration in a world where everyone wants things done yesterday and we have no time to sit back and ask ourselves, "How can I make this easier?".
We work on these business processes with an IT focus to make systems more intuitive, flexible and above all - user friendly.
Quite often this involves consolidating a whole lot of tasks into one process, then with any luck, we can automate a lot of these tasks by designing a system suited to your needs.
